It can be confusing explaining holidays to those who come from other places... Take for example my scrabblies who were all excited about the human holiday of Easter. They HAD planned to show up on every doorstep in town, Easter basket in hand, to give out Easter treats and an invitation to come for Easter dinner (the scrabblies get lonely when no one visits them, and when they're lonely, the come looking for company).
They even put masks on to show solidarity with the humans trying to be safe from the virus, and promised to be on their best behavior (and try not to look too scary). Pig, Slate, Hemlock and some of the others did a great job. Tree Badger, and our T-Rex looking scrabbly, not so much. And, well, not to put too fine a point on it, but handing out the severed heads of your enemies and dead mini-demons, and Demonverse books aren't the sort of thing humans like to receive on Easter. Nice try though guys. 💜 Humans will like you better on Halloween.
